Footing Depth and Diameter

Water in the Hole
Near the water table a hole fills while it is being dug. Concrete poured into standing water is weakened and segregated, so the water is pumped out, or the pour is done with a mix designed for it. This is the most common shortcut on a coastal installation and it is invisible once the surface is finished.
